ABOUT ME

Guilherme's interest in music dates back to childhood, when he joined his school's fanfare at the age of seven. He first started playing the atabaque, and as time went by, he progressed to playing other instruments, such as the snare drum. But his real passion was the drums.
He then started taking courses in Florianópolis (SC). It didn't take long for Guilherme to start playing in bands in his hometown, whether with friends, family or orchestras. He is currently the drummer in the Outside Band, as a hobby.

The more he experienced music, the more Guilherme became interested in it. His curiosity for music production was born. At first he was self-taught, searching the internet for everything he wanted to learn about the subject. He became so fond of the area that Guilherme built a studio at home.

During his research, Guilherme came across the channel of Filipe Leitão, a soundtrack teacher in the United States. He then decided to take part in a competition run by Filipe, winning first place and, as a result, he won an orchestration course taught by the teacher, where he learned how to orchestrate virtual instruments so that they sound like the real thing.

While studying, Guilherme developed his portfolio of soundtracks for films, creating music in different styles and genres. As his skills improved, he continued to study. Twice he took part in an advanced composition course, the Trilha Sonora Experience, in São Paulo.
With a consolidated and diversified portfolio, he got his first client through Instagram. Cesar Rendon, a young filmmaker from the United States, got in touch with Guilherme via the social network after becoming interested in the compositions posted by Guilherme. A partnership emerged, which has already resulted in the short film Within Quiet Tides, chosen as best in its category at the San Pedro International Film Festival and also at the Lift-Off Global Network, and Quiet Heard, which was the lastest film.
